italian version .art 12.03.04 Looptracks, the flow representing the sound. The sequencer represented the sequential visualization of a musical score by highlighting its components. In a perfect time succession with its concept of the sound flow, implemented by techno music and its execution, it has brought together the need to produce music by means of a software interface and the mindframe of electronic musicians and their style, made of structures and layers. Looptracks, by Conor O' Boyle, is a cinematic tool, made with Flash, which exploits the flow as an execution parameter, graphically visualizing the sounds with a stylization of their characteristics (waveform, amplitude, volume), allowing the user to move through the different environments, where the different samples/animations move rapidly with the colour transitions. It's a tool against the silence and for transitions, contemporaneity and gaps which change the chromatic and musical experience according to the set. |
