01.07.03 Neonlight, colored neon lights guided by sound.
Neonlight is an interactive music visualizer, made using Shockwave by the japanese Makoto Yanagisawa, which exploits the aesthetic paradigm of neon lights to synchronize typically oriental sound machines. In the sudden passage between the different visualizations there are several variations, and the color spectrum wraps itself around the movements of the lines. It's an abstraction reminescent of the abstract esperiments of the beginning of the century, where the visual rhythm was skillfully put side by side with the musical rhythm, expressing a poetic which merged the retina and the eardrum in a total synesthetic sensation.
